Yee-haw! Go Texan Day!

Of course, I had to teach my little Lydays how to say "HOWDY"! Today is Go Texan Day and of course, Avery and Cooper had a great time dressing up as precious Cowgirl and Cowboys!

Cooper's hair is getting a little too long....so of course, it was my wonderful idea to make it into a "faux" mohawk. Precious huh?

Girls can be girls....

So yesterday, Avery told me that her new "friend" told her that she wasn't pretty. Of course, my immediate reaction was "AVERY, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!"- and of course, Avery said confidently, "Yes, I know--I'm pretty!" (sassy, huh?). Afterall, when Avery was 2 she would tell people/strangers that her name was "cute" when they would ask Avery her name....)

Anyways, of course, I asked Avery what she said back when her "friend" said that mean comment....Avery didn't say anything back to that little girl.

Can you believe that little 3 yr old girls are so mean..... Come on!

So I asked my little angel today if her "friend" was nice to her today. She said "no!" Of course, my heart was beating a little faster--thinking that this little girl had told my BEAUTIFUL baby that she wasn't "pretty" again.... so then I ask "Avery, why wasn't your "friend" nice to you today?".... And then Avery looked away smiling...and said "She told on me to the teacher"... of course, I asked "why?"..... Avery says-- "I was being mean to her". :) Haha ( I know I shouldn't condone naughty behavior--- but it was really cute- and no worries... I told her to always "be nice" to others) :) At least, Avery had a good day at school today. :)

...I can only imagine what Cooper will be up to when he's Avery's age.....

Big Girl

My sweet little baby is now a "Big Girl". She was promoted to the next class at her Montessori School. :) And with that "promotion" I got to buy my big girl uniforms. Of course, we had to do some picture taking before school today! :) These pictures make me laugh! She had such a great day at school today with her new class!

Kevin & Jamie's Wedding

Santa's Visit

Santa was kind enough to visit Avery & Cooper's school today for pictures! Cooper was the brave one who jumped on Santa's lap first and Avery was happy just to stand next to Santa. :) Too bad I didn't bring Bella Kate to their School for this perfect picture opportunity. :)

I asked Avery what she asked Santa to bring her... "A Ballerina Music Box"

I asked Cooper the same question... "Cars"-- yes, more hot wheels cars to join the other million that we already have in our house. :)

Santa better get back to the North Pole to prepare for Christmas....

Sugar Creek Montessori School Holiday Program

Sweet little Cooper & Avery had their SCMS Holiday Program this past Saturday- Cooper "sang" Jingle Bells and Avery sang "Snowflake, Snowflake". Cooper's class did great- it was soo adorable! Cooper is the 2nd one from the left... Ms. Betty (his AMAZING teacher) is right behind him helping him jingle his bells that were around his wrist. :)

Little Miss Sunshine had her 1st ever Dance Performance. Avery was quite nervous- but VERY excited about dancing! Once she saw me in the front row- she finally decided to dance. :)
